Passing through the area and sleeping on the street, we went to grab a bite to eat, and to my surprise, the atmosphere was awful, the owner very unpleasant, and the food mediocre. Furthermore, there were no payment methods indicated, forcing us to pay in cash—strange. Anyway...

What a nice, simple little eatery! We sat on the terrace and had a simple lunch, exactly what you want: good quality, not too expensive. Very friendly service. Real espresso to finish!

We stumbled upon this place by chance and received a warm and attentive welcome. We had excellent, homemade cheeseburgers and the most delicious fries we've had in ages. We highly recommend this little bistro. We sat outside, very comfortably by the fountain.

They're a team of two, and they both run the restaurant very well; the portions are generous. It's warm and welcoming, there's no pretension, and I love that. Some restaurants, I find, overdo the service and the socializing; they're not the same anymore. But this one doesn't change whether he's at the restaurant or in the village; his behavior is the same. I recommend Le Petit Wintz in Wintzenheim; the couple are lovely.
