La Fringale

This restaurant truly impressed us. Wonderful Alsatian dishes, a beautiful place with thoughtful details (every outdoor table had a fan and refreshing water for the face), and such a kind, always‑smiling staff. As we were leaving, the chef waved to us from the small kitchen. It’s a pity I don’t speak French — we would have loved to thank them properly for the excellent dinner!

We ate the traditional Alsatian pizza, tarte flambee, and it was delicious. We also had some red wine, which I absolutely loved 🥰 The lady who served us was very kind, and we were very pleased. The only downside was that the tables were a little cramped. Everything else was perfect.

I had the Escalope and my mom the fish. It was very good and taste and portion was very good. The dessert was a surprise of moscatel flavor and the beautiful shape of the typical Alsace bakery. I recommend this place for couples since it’s small or families in small numbers but anyone is welcome and accommodated in advance. We arrived a bit early and manage to get a table. The staffs was lovely 🥰

We ate at La Fringale three times during our week-long holiday in Riquewihr and were delighted every time – excellent food, super friendly service! Highly recommended 🫶

Very good food, excellent service and a very friendly admosphere

Everything is carefully crafted, from the heart-shaped bread to the little metal birds decorating each table. The varied menu combines local specialties with a variety of meat and fish dishes. I had a seemingly simple dish, chicken salad, but it was cooked so deliciously!

A superb place, with beautiful decor, lovely tablecloths, and cloth napkins. Hearts everywhere, even the bread is heart-shaped. And the food is excellent. We appreciate the homemade touch. It's delicious. Well done to the whole team!

Off on a side street you could miss this treat. A small restaurant but very inviting with views into the kitchen The menu is so well priced. We have been in the Alsace region for 7 days and this was the most authentic and most delicious meal we have eaten

Our instincts led us to this restaurant, and we weren't disappointed. We ordered the veal escalopes with mushroom sauce and fries. A real treat... just like the iced pretzel 😋 We'd also like to take this opportunity to thank the waitress, who was lovely and always attentive to our comfort. The three of us from the Drôme region 😉 will definitely be recommending your establishment.

A wonderful discovery! We had a family meal (9 people) and everyone loved it! The ingredients were excellent, the dishes were very fresh and truly generous. Delicious traditional cuisine served with a smile and good cheer! I highly recommend this tiny restaurant.
