We made a great choice with the daily menu. Exciting and delicious options for both the starter and dessert. Attentive service. They even took our dog into consideration.

Excellent value for money. The meat was excellent, as was the service.

A very pleasant lunchtime experience, right at the entrance to the town. The welcome, the service, and especially the meal—generous and delicious—were all excellent. We'll be back!

I never leave reviews, but in this case, it's hard to remain silent. To begin with, the restaurant is truly kitschy and feels like a school cafeteria. And the food isn't any better: bland dishes (you have to add salt and pepper), an uninteresting salad, and a small, tasteless local dish (again, you have to add salt and pepper). Far too expensive for what was served. Clearly a tourist trap, with undercooked potatoes. The desserts? Bottom of the barrel, nothing homemade. Honestly, you can find better frozen options. A vacherin that was a vacherin in name only, and a "gourmet coffee" that was anything but gourmet (two ordinary macarons and three tiny cakes that were truly awful). For 9 euros, I would have preferred two Pépito cookies and a small chocolate with my coffee. In the end, high prices for very average, even mediocre, quality. You really feel like you're paying for nothing. And given the owner's responses to reviews, I doubt anything will change. Avoid at all costs!

Excellent sauerkraut terrine in a very classy setting. The staff are helpful and friendly, top-notch 🙂

Spring is mushroom season! We enjoyed two meat sauced mushroom dishes. Each meal came with fries and either peas or salad. Meal prices between 25 to 28€. Typical French style service. Accommodating of non-French speakers. All other tables were French speakers on a Wednesday night.

A little outside the center but close to parking, it's well worth the detour. The welcome is very warm, the homemade foie gras is to die for, and the dishes are very well prepared and generously served. A great find!

We had the leg of lamb, sauerkraut, and burgers; they were good but not delicious. The hamburgers were quite expensive (€21). On the other hand, the decor and atmosphere need updating; a facelift would do wonders, especially for a town as charming as Kaysersberg.

The atmosphere was pleasant, but my meals were truly mediocre. The waiter was friendly, but the only downside was that it was excellent. Carola water is also very good.

Excellent experience. I went during the Christmas market. I arrived at the end of service and received a very warm welcome. The dishes were beautifully presented and delicious. The prices were quite reasonable. The waitress and owners were very helpful and friendly. I highly recommend it.

I've already read in other reviews that the owner can't take criticism! I don't care if he insults me 🤷‍♂️ I just want to share my own experience with others. And if you read my other reviews, you'll see that I'm not a chronic complainer. But the waitress, running around frantically, creates a lot of anxiety; she's only superficially friendly and in a bad mood. As others have mentioned, the daily special sold out after just 20 minutes, and if you're a day tourist, you can't pre-order it. Fish & Chips: The fish was a pre-made product, and the dry fries were good. The smoked salmon with toast was okay, but nothing special. There are much better options in this beautiful city!!

Beautiful place and great food, the chef even came to see us – very kind! However, the waitress was a bit unpleasant, perhaps she was just having an off day. I recommend this place!
