We went to this restaurant because we were staying right next door. We were so disappointed. My brother ordered his burger without onions, and to our surprise, there were onions in it when it arrived. Then, having ordered a tomato carpaccio with mozzarella and pesto, imagine our surprise when the dish arrived without mozzarella! We told the waiter, he apologized for not letting us know and left, but who orders a tomato for €13? There was a very awkward gesture and just a free syrup... I definitely don't recommend it.

The staff were quite pleasant, but we were very disappointed with the meal. We ordered a tomato and mozzarella carpaccio, which arrived without mozzarella and without any prior warning. Furthermore, I ordered a burger without onions, but it arrived with them. The bun was rock hard. We then asked for some kind of compensation, and after some difficulty, we finally received a free syrup. However, this didn't excuse us from paying €13 for two measly chopped tomatoes with virtually no pesto. Honestly, avoid this place.

During our holiday in Katzenthal this week, the kids got to choose where we would eat today. So, at 6:30 PM, we were standing at the entrance of Aux Berges de la Fecht, where we were warmly welcomed and shown to our table. After looking at the menu, 3 of us decided to choose the Mix Tapas and 2 the Angus beef. "I hope those tapas are enough," one of us wondered. And it certainly was enough. More than enough, in fact! Afterwards, a delicious dessert, and we were ready to face the world again. We had a great meal and found the service amazing and super friendly. As far as we are concerned, it is definitely worth repeating!

Mixed experience. The wait for our drinks order was quite long. The carp fillets were rather bland (though the small sauce was a nice change from the usual store-bought mayo). The cordon bleu was good. However, I didn't appreciate the waiter's response when we complained about the wait: "It wasn't long, and besides, we have time, we're not in a hurry." Well, thank you, but you're not in a hurry, but we don't necessarily want to spend three hours in a restaurant on a weeknight. And I found the way they packaged the leftovers very unprofessional; no container or anything, just the leftovers wrapped as is in cellophane, then more cellophane.

We ordered tarte flambée to take away, and the experience was dreadful. When we got home, after only a 10-minute drive, the tartes were already cold. The bacon had an odd color (natural), which didn't inspire confidence. The plain tarte flambée looked like it had been carelessly thrown into the box. Finally, there was simply no comparison between the photos shown and what we actually received. The presentation was very disappointing and didn't match the description at all. Very disappointed, we unfortunately won't be ordering again.

The best lunch of our holiday. Super delicious Poke Bowl with salmon and wonderful ice cream for desert. The staff was incredibly nice and welcoming. The outdoor terrace was cozy despite being right next to the parking lot, and the indoor facilities were great.

We ate on the terrace and therefore didn't really see the inside. The staff were professional and friendly. It was my first time in Alsace, so I wasn't yet familiar with the names of some of the dishes and had to ask for explanations, which I received when placing my order. As a result, I didn't really have time to choose my dish. (I could have taken out my phone and looked online, but I didn't feel like it, preferring human interaction or explanations of the menu, as is the case in other establishments that explain their local specialties). We ordered a tapas platter, which was quite generous and we all enjoyed it. (The terrace has banquettes, and the platter is ideal for enjoying a drink during aperitif time). The wine we were served, a Pinot Blanc from Jung (I think), was excellent, thank you! We ate very well, and the portions were generous. We didn't leave hungry. The establishment accepts holiday vouchers, which is great, but only up to a limit of €25. We also tried the takeaway service. The service was quick and the pizzas were very good.

A really pleasant place, away from the traffic, and a very well-designed terrace. That's THE positive point, and I think the only one. As for the meal, once we ordered, the child with us was served quite quickly, which was great since he was hungry... But we weren't served until half an hour later! Since when do several people eat separately at a table? And we hadn't ordered anything that required a lot of cooking! We had heard about their poke bowls and pizzas, and given the sweltering weather, we opted for poke bowls and a meat dish. The dishes arrived, and the rice was cold, tasteless, and bland... There was a little bit of topping, but the radishes were rotten, and there was very, very little sauce. So we asked for more. We also ordered still and sparkling water; I think they're still sitting somewhere on the counter... The service was rushed, just like the poor service itself. I understand the waiter's "ultra-polite" attitude when they take the time to attend to customers, but it quickly becomes irritating when you hear, "Yes, so you've made your choice," when we weren't the ones who ordered. Wouldn't it have been polite to simply ask if everything was alright? The bread was as hard as a rock, the water we ordered never arrived, and no one mentioned that the children's menu included one drink... Minor details, you might say, but important enough to point out! These are the reasons why we didn't order dessert, coffee, or anything else. These are also the reasons why I didn't leave a tip, as I usually do. The food was more than just so-so (if I go to a restaurant, it's to eat at least as well as I would at home, right?). The welcome and service were also more than just so-so (being told we had to sit at a table for two, not four, even though we had booked for four and had a reservation! But two people arrived at different times). Anyway, I'm a bit confused in my comments, but what's certain is... I won't be going back, despite the place being really nice! In addition to your response to my opinion, please know that we don't have unreasonable expectations. If my opinion bothered you, I'm simply sorry. But it's just a reflection of what actually happened. I'm not criticizing for the sake of it, quite the opposite. I'm simply stating my observations and opinions. I reiterate that yes, one of the servers wasn't very professional, but yes, we forgive him and attribute it to the heat. I mentioned it to you live regarding certain garnishes: the response was quick... They were cooked this morning... Do you cook a radish? Especially when you put it in a salad? Yes, I completely understand that the kitchen staff had a lot on their plate and that they're doing their best, but as a customer, I think that's also the bare minimum expected, am I wrong? I'm acting in good faith and not exaggerating anything; things are reported exactly as they happened. I understand you're upset, but we were disappointed... So...

We have very mixed feelings about our evening at Aux Berges de la Fecht. Everyone received a welcome toast, except for our table. We waited 45 minutes for our menus, and my son, who had a children's menu, received his after 20 minutes, so he ate his meal alone. We ordered the Beef Rossini, but the piece of beef was ridiculously small and the foie gras was full of sinew. The bread was inedible, as hard as a rock, and the fries were overcooked and swimming in grease. My friend, who ordered a poke bowl, received dry rice and a tiny pot of sauce, along with a rotten radish. The waiter told us, "That's strange, they were cooked this morning." The radish was cooked?! The terrace is pleasant, so I wouldn't give it one or two stars, but the quality of the food needs improvement, especially for the price.

The service was very pleasant and efficient, Caro's snails were very good, the dishes were delicious and generous, the pizza was very good and the desserts were perfect, thank you and we will be back soon!

A friend and I discovered this restaurant this weekend. The setting is pleasant, near a pond. The cocktails were great, the food good but nothing special. The waiter was welcoming but took my glass away before I'd finished it. The icing on the cake was being told at the checkout that we couldn't pay separately (new law from 2026). It would have been nice if they'd informed us at the beginning of the meal so we could have opted for two separate bills; that would have suited everyone!

The menu is very appealing and the quality is excellent. The perfect egg is... perfect. A real treat. The sirloin steak was cooked to perfection... That's becoming rare... The setting... Well, it's in front of a parking lot, they can't do anything about that, but it's nicely laid out. The prices are reasonable considering the quality.
