The restaurant was full, and both waitresses were incredibly fast (they were also in charge of the bar) – great service. We ordered one dish from the daily specials menu, beef cooked medium, but they could barely cut it… it was like chewing gum. And it definitely wasn't medium/see photo. We mentioned it when they were clearing the table (unfortunately, no one came before because it was so busy). The response: "Oh, would you like dessert?" 😂 …that was all. The waitress was also baffled when we said it was like chewing gum. We then paid. The baked cheese was good. The beef wasn't worth the money. Maybe we were just unlucky and got a tough piece…

Absolutely perfect! A must-visit culinary stop in Eguisheim. I recommend the baby Munster cheese as a starter (we shared it between two) and the sauerkraut with meat, which is simply incredible ☺️

Good menu, good taste and fantastic location behind the church which is a little away from the city center. The service was top notch and both the food and atmosphere were child friendly.

A very nice little restaurant in the heart of Eguisheim. The food was delicious and the service impeccable. Reservations are absolutely necessary.

The setting is charming and the service was quite decent (not the most attentive, but acceptable). Some dishes were good, but others were less convincing. The fish with sauerkraut, in particular, wasn't to our taste and we wouldn't recommend it. Overall, a satisfying experience, but somewhat inconsistent in terms of quality.

The choucroute was awful. The sauerkraut, meat, and sausages weren't cooked together but separately and were dry, without broth or wine, and without any seasoning. It has nothing to do with the original recipe. The positive reviews are incomprehensible. Not recommended!

Having navigated all the tourist traps, I was lucky to stumble upon this place. Pleasant setting, welcoming and efficient service, expertly prepared daily specials at a fair price. I'll be back.

We came here for dinner quite by chance and were absolutely delighted. The food, drinks, atmosphere, and service were all top-notch 🫶. Most of the tables were reserved, and while guests arrived gradually, we still managed to get a table for two. My impression, however, is that you should probably make a reservation.

Beautiful ambiance, very diverse and tasty dishes, and the two waitresses, after initial reserve, were quick, courteous and friendly!
