Restaurant Pfeffel

Excellent family meal. Everyone enjoyed their meal, children and adults alike. The dishes were truly delicious and the desserts were very generous (vacherin, strawberries melba. Yum!). The waiter was also lovely and had a great sense of humor. The terrace is pleasant. We highly recommend this restaurant! ☺️

A very warm welcome from a respectful, serious, and professional team (servers). Importantly, the cleanliness of the restrooms is often neglected – very clean! A small recommendation from David (who is great): the strawberry Melba is incredible!

Food itself is OK, nothing extraordinary. But theft and crime rates are outrageous in the area. Nobody cares at all! No camera surveillance, police is not cooperative and have no clue about non-French speakers.

This restaurant often has groups, so wait times can be long.

I visited on a solo trip. I wanted to eat tarte flambée, so I decided on Chappy's recommendation. I ordered a small salad, but it was very filling and incredibly delicious! I ordered a Riesling wine. I had to wait quite a while for the bill to be brought to my table after asking for it. It's best to come with plenty of time and patience.

Excellent value for money.

If you're looking for a place to eat in Colmar, away from the hustle and bustle, I highly recommend it. The tarte flambée was delicious and the staff was incredibly friendly. You can also just have a drink.

Good food, and friendly people

I'm not usually very demanding, but this restaurant is one of the worst... they're not friendly, and on top of that, your order will take an hour and a half to be served... avoid it!

Pfeffer is the best restaurant. The staff is super friendly, and the food is delicious. Prices could be a bit lower.
