I went there on May 7th around 6:15 PM. The saleswoman didn't use the tongs provided; she just rubbed her nose and picked up the pastries with her fingers! I was disgusted! Yuck! I won't be going back!

We wanted to have breakfast with croissants and coffee at Paul's, but we couldn't because they don't have a terrace or tables inside. You can buy pastries to go, but there was nowhere nearby to sit to take them with you, so we were disappointed and went elsewhere.

As a regular customer for several years, I've noticed that the quality of your sandwiches has been poor lately. They're ice cold, practically frozen! When I try to eat them, the contents are inedible and frozen solid: the lettuce is cooked, the tomatoes are completely frosted over, and the Philadelphia cream cheese is cracked and dry. After my initial complaint, I received a 10% discount on my next purchase, which doesn't compensate for the price of the inedible sandwich. Then, to my great surprise, the problem recurred a week later, and this time there was no compensation. I was turned away by the saleswomen, one of whom was particularly unpleasant. I'm very disappointed with the staff's behavior; they're completely unprofessional, except for their immediate concern about taking payment.

While freezing the sandwiches is one thing, you should inform customers (more clearly if you already do) and, most importantly, ensure they're edible as soon as they leave the shop. When I bite into one, it feels like biting into an ice cube—it's extremely unpleasant!

The tarts are incredibly delicious and fresh, especially the raspberry and lemon ones. The baguette with olives and mozzarella was also tasty.

Next to this pastry shop is a churro and crepe stand. I don't know if it's owned by the same people, but the experience was simply outrageous. On Friday afternoon, January 2nd, the middle-aged woman who works there, accompanied by a younger woman, made openly contemptuous and insulting remarks. They said in French that they couldn't stand Spaniards and that we were making too much noise. Meanwhile, I was simply teaching my daughter how to politely ask the price of churros in French and pay for them herself. Their attitude was arrogant, inappropriate, and deeply disrespectful. What they didn't know is that we speak and understand French perfectly well: so we heard everything. The result: a terrible welcome, blatant discrimination, and a shameful experience. Absolutely avoid it.

I have rarely seen such incompetent staff. We ordered two sandwiches, and she only gave us one. We ordered two more, one salmon and one rosette sausage. This time, the quantity was understood, but we still only got two rosettes. Finally, asking us to pay for our sandwiches separately annoyed her so much that she sighed loudly and unceremoniously.
