We should have checked the reviews before sitting down. The welcome was unpleasant, the customer service rather cold, our drinks weren't cold, not even an ice cube, the quiche was a small slice I suspect was frozen, and it was bland. The accompanying salad was really not good; I didn't understand why the two beans that came with it were more or less raw. There were five of us, and we were all disappointed. A bad experience.

We ordered a quiche and were served a slice of black quiche, and don't even get me started on the waitresses 😓 If you don't like your job, you change jobs. I was hoping to eat some good Alsatian food, but no such luck this time.

Honestly, don't go there... Colmar is full of excellent restaurants, but this one definitely isn't one of them... We had a terrible meal, a long wait to be served before our children... By the time the children's menus arrived, our dishes were cold and we had to send them back to the kitchen... And frankly, the waitresses were mediocre, unfriendly, really unfriendly...

We arrived as a family with two children and a teenager. We ordered an aperitif, two children's menus, and a tarte flambée. We waited 45 minutes. The children were served 20 minutes after us. Furthermore, we ordered wine to go with the sauerkraut, which was served at the same time as the aperitif. Now let's talk about the meal. The nuggets were burnt, the tarte flambée was undercooked, and frankly, the region has much better talent. To top it off, my son wanted a burger, we were told they didn't have any, and 20 minutes later, what do you know, a full menu with burgers! Now let's talk about the service. Two unfriendly waitresses. As soon as we mentioned our dissatisfaction, they disappeared. Luckily, a waiter was there to address this terrible experience! Avoid this restaurant!

The flammkuchen we had was solid, but the rib-eyes were like eating a shoe. Leathery meat unfortunately.. Would not recommend, at least if you’re fancying a rib-eye.

Contrary to the Google review, we were pleasantly surprised! The service was quick; we received our menus immediately and then ordered our food right away. The servers were quite friendly and efficient. The food was good; we had the Munster Rosti, which was very generous, but perhaps a small side salad would have made it more palatable.

Worst pizza I've ever eaten. It was like a flatbread dough with pizza toppings. The turkey steak was completely tasteless. We waited ages for the food and then even longer for the cutlery. I strongly advise everyone against eating there.

Absolutely exceptional, I highly recommend it. Perfect welcome, very fast service from a truly amazing waiter who managed to find a banana for a banana split and a cone for my daughter's ice cream. Simply exceptional. Basically, if you're passing by, stop and enjoy!

Extremely disappointed, we were hoping to see Philippe Etchebest appear, but unfortunately it wasn't an episode of "Kitchen Nightmares," though the premise was so confusing... The service was catastrophic. Two of the three waitresses were unprofessional, unfriendly, and slow (except when clearing tables; they didn't even have time to finish the drinks and plates). It took half an hour to order drinks, and an hour for two chicken nuggets and fries for the children, which arrived 10 minutes after the adults' main courses, namely two sirloin steaks (one rare and one medium-rare). The waitress asked us if the children wanted ketchup and mayonnaise, which she never brought. (Thanks to the only competent waitress who brought them quickly and pleasantly when we asked. We hope she changes establishments soon; she clearly deserves better than this place, which is unworthy of the magnificent city of Colmar.) Food "Okay," but we're also talking about two sirloin steaks... And, given the wait, we can't say the food raised the bar for the establishment... One of, if not the worst, experiences we've ever had in a "restaurant"... APPALLING!

Catastrophic. A one-hour wait in an empty restaurant to receive a dish made with frozen ingredients. The waitress was unpleasant. Honestly, you seriously need to rethink your approach.
